Set of Amphora Austria vases, Art Nouveau
A special set of Art Nouveau Austria Amphora vases with a decoration of leaves. The company Amphora Pottery from Austria was founded in 1892-1904 in Turn Teplitz. The set of Austria Amphora vases was made in the period around 1900, the Art Nouveau period. Vases from Austria Amphora often have natural images of plants and animals in relief.
The leaves resemble plants from the sea, for example algae or anemones. We think this because the bottom edge of the vase is brown, the top is blue, the leaves grow winding upwards through the turbulent sea.
The leaves grow from golden lines, have the colors green with golden brown shoots and matte yellow drops on the leaves.
The background of the top of the vase is medium blue.
The vases are marked with the well-known crown, the blind stamp of Amphora and a blind stamp with Austria. The vases have number 2445 with 47 underneath.
The Austria Amphora vases are in perfect condition, see the additional photos.
Beautiful eye-catchers for an Art Nouveau or sleek white cabinet.
