Theo Genemans vaas in blauw paars
A Theo Genemans vase in shades of blue and purple, the famous ceramist from Heerde. Mr. Genemans, the potter, was born in 1930 in Singapore, then moved a number of times and eventually ended up in Heerde. Around 1960 he became a student of Frans Slot in Epe. From 1975 he has been teaching for 12 years at the Cele center in Zwolle. He always lived with his parents. In addition to being a ceramist, Mr. Genemans was also a draftsman and painter. Genemans work has always remained undervalued, but now the special vases are in demand again. He made many decorated vases, sometimes with a bit of humor. You will also find his Asian roots reflected in his vases, nature is also a great source of inspiration for Theo Genemans. This vase in two different colours, blue and purple, is in good condition and marked on the bottom, see also the additional photos.
