Livio Seguso (Murano) penguin

Cute penguin from Livio Seguso (Murano). This Livio Seguso penguin is beautifully styled, made of brown, clear gray smoked glass. The penguin has a small tail, 2 small eyes and a pointed nose. Mr. Livio Seguso was born in Murano in 1930. In his youth  Alfredo Barbini taught him glass art, he was a great glass artist from Murano. In 1969 Livio Seguso started his own glass factory as an entrepreneur and sculptor.

For 50 years he designed beautiful sculptures, he mainly used glass but also marble, granite and wood. The vintage penguin from Livio Seguso is from the 70s. In 1990 he sold his factory. For details, see the extra photos, the penguin is not signed, but really special.
