Bruintje bear jigsaw puzzle, no. 2

A Bruintje Bear jigsaw puzzle No. 2 is the rarest of a series of 4. Bruintje Bear is a British comic series about a bear of the same name. The character was created by the Englishwoman Mary Tourtel and first appeared in the Daily Express of November 8, 1920. In 1935 the first Bruintje Beer comic was created by Alfred Bestall. An original drawing / design from him from 1944 was also used for this puzzle. The Bruintje Beer puzzle was published in 1948 by the Algemeen Handelsblad. This was sent in a brown envelope, with an example of the puzzle. The envelope is missing but the cut-out example is included. The Bruintje Beer jigsaw puzzle is in good condition.
