Sold An old round cigarette tin from Rothmans de Luxe Pall Mall. This round tin in black and white could hold fifty Virginia cigarettes. The images on the cigarette tin are beautiful, stylish and detailed. You see a horse-drawn carriage, a beautiful English street with a rearing horse in the foreground. The Rotmans brand came onto the market in 1890. Rotmans cigarettes are still sold in many countries. Around 1900, Rotman started making cigarettes of various brands as a young entrepreneur. In 1905, Louis Rothman himself was the first official tobacco supplier for the Spanish and English courts. Around 1926, Rotman even went public on the London stock exchange!
